Can you get me a refund from the vendor I am attempting to cancel?

CancelWizard secures refunds for our clients with an almost 100% success rate. Refunds come from prepaid accounts or simply as a result of the vendor not honoring your original cancelation request. Upon request, CancelWizard attempts to refund fees you paid to the vendor. We then contact the vendor on your behalf and try to arrange to have some of the fees they have charged to your account refunded. Upon request from our client, CancelWizard will attempt to get you a refund of fees you paid to the vendor you are attempting to cancel. We will contact the vendor on your behalf during the cancellation process and try to arrange to have some of the fees they have charged to your account refunded.

Do I have to utilize the paid services of CancelWizard to get my account cancelled?

No, you are more than welcome to cancel your account on your own. We even offer “do-it-yourself guides” to help individuals process their own cancelations. CancelWizard’s paid service is just an option for individuals who no longer want to deal with the hassles of canceling their accounts. It is not a requirement that you use our paid service to cancel your account... It’s just an option. Many people like the convenience of our no-hassle cancelation service and therefore choose to utilize our paid program.

How much do you charge?

We charge a $35 convenience fee per cancelation.

I want to cancel everything. Can you do that?

Once in a while someone submits a request to cancel "everything". We get a good laugh out of this because we can't cancel every account you have. Our services are catered to the abusive companies that make it hard for you to cancel. Specify one service you would like cancelled when submitting your order.

Is CancelWizard associated with any of the vendors for which they offer a cancelation service?

No. CancelWizard is a third-party service provider that helps individuals cancel a variety of difficult-to-cancel accounts. We are not directly associated with any of the vendors we offer our cancelation services for.

Is CancelWizard safe to use?

Once I submit my cancellation request and pay the convenience fee, is my account cancelled immediately?

It takes between a few days to a few weeks to completely cancel an account. It really depends on the type of service you cancel. Let’s be clear: No cancelation is effective immediately. Once your request is received, a cancelation specialist will contact you within 72 business hours via email to get detailed information about your cancelation. At this time, we will give you a better timeframe for the completion of your cancelation request. Since we contact you via email to process your cancelation, it is very important that you include your complete email address in your cancelation request.

What exactly are the services you provide?

We aim to be the one-stop resource for hard-to-cancel services like free trial, post-transaction marketing and other rebill scams. What happens after I pay my convenience fee to CancelWizard?

After you submit your cancelation request and pay the convenience fee, a cancelation specialist will contact you via email within 72 business hours to obtain more detailed information about your cancelation request. To expedite your cancelation, include basic personal information plus your current email address on your request. Once we receive your response, we’ll move forward with the cancelation process. When your cancelation has been processed, expect to see a follow up e-mail with the status of your request.

Why do you ask me for my personal and account information when processing a cancellation request?

Because CancelWizard is a third-party service provider, we have no other way of knowing your account information. In order to secure your cancelation, we need to send the vendor correct account information (so they know what account to cancel) to verify that we are authorized to cancel your account (your personal information). Often when we contact the vendors they ask us for our client’s personal information to verify that they are speaking with an authorized individual. They may ask to verify a portion of a client’s Social Security Number, driver license number, or bank account for security purposes. (You would not want an unauthorized individual accessing or canceling your account.) This is why we ask for personal information. Each vendor asks for different information… It varies based on each request. To make sure we have what they need, we ask for a variety of information up front. If we do not have the requested information, the cancelation process can be slow. If you are uncomfortable giving this information to CancelWizard we are happy to attempt to secure your cancelation without this personal information. Please simply let us know this after we send you a request for additional information. Please note that failure to supply this information may result in the inability to cancel your account. We will, however, do our very best to cancel with the information provided.

Why does CancelWizard charge a "convenience fee" to cancel my account?

We charge our customers a small fee to utilize our service. This fee covers our stellar customer service staff and fulfillment of your cancelation. Additionally, we need to send certified mail, faxes, or collect external information, and this fee helps cover these overhead costs. CancelWizard is just like any other service provider you hire. CancelWizard charges a fee to help people cancel accounts. Many people choose to utilize CancelWizard to help get difficult accounts cancelled. We offer a professional cancelation service without the hassles dealing directly with vendors.

Do you cancel services for "XYZ" company?

If you do not see the company you are trying to cancel services for, you can still submit your cancelation request. If we find that we cannot process the cancelation, we will fully refund your account.

Why are you charging my credit card every month?

Chances are you have us confused with another company. We only charge a flat fee, we do not have recurring payments.

What is your refund policy?

We give refunds with no questions asked when your situation is as follows: 1) We were unable to find or contact the company from which you are trying to cancel services. 2) We sent your cancelation to the vendor, but the vendor has continued to bill you even after 90 days of communication. 3) We sent your cancelation in, but the vendor has refused to cancel your account. We will consider refunds for other special circumstance as approved by management. In this circumstance, we require a reason for the refund request.
