• Expiration date
• Physical address associated with account
• Access to a phone

Steps to Cancel

1. To cancel your subscription, call 1-800-TRIBUNE  or 1-800-874-2863.
2. Once you call the 1-800 number, you’ll have to listen to a series of prompts. Select the option to “inquire about Chicago Tribune Services”. This is option one.
3. The recorded message then asks you more questions: Hit “two” on your phone for home delivery inquires. From there you should be able to quickly connect with a representative.
4. Once you have a representative on the line, state your personal information like name, address, type of service you currently subscribe to (digital “Plus” versus physical newspaper). The representative should then be able to pull up your account. Then state your desire to cancel -- be specific about what services you are looking to cancel and when. Then inquire about cancellation fees. If you are breaking any contract, be expected to pay extra fees.
5. Jot down the customer service representative’s name for your records. Then request a receipt confirming your cancellation.
