Steps to Cancel

1. Gather your Newsday account information.
2. Call Newsday at 1-800-NEWSDAY (1-800-639-7329).
3. Follow the prompts to speak with a representative. 
4. Once you have a representative on the line, state your personal information (name, address, type of service you currently subscribe to), and account number, if applicable. 
5. Tell the representative you’d like to cancel your Newsday subscription. Be specific about what services you are looking to cancel and when. 
6. Inquire about cancellation fees. If you are breaking any contract, expect to pay extra fees. 
7. Stay on the line with the representative until you have confirmation that your account has been canceled.
8. Jot down the customer service representative’s name for your records. Then request a receipt or cancellation number for your records in case you run into any issues.
