Steps to Cancel

WordPress.com accounts cannot be deleted, but you can easily delete your blog. Here’s how to do it.

1. Go to www.wordpress.com.
2. Login into your WordPress account in the top right corner of your page using your email and password.
3. Once you’ve logged on to the Wordpress dashboard, navigate to “Tools” then select “Delete Site”.
4. Select a reason for deleting your Wordpress site from the options listed on the page.  
5. You may be prompted to a follow-up sccreen. Answer the questions and then look for the “Delete Now” button.
6. The next screen will lead you to an area that confirms you want to delete your site. Click the “Delete Now” button again.
7. You will then get an email with a confirmation link to confirm your cancelation. Click on the link provided in the email. You MUST confirm that you wish to delete your WordPress blog for it to be finalized.
