At the time of its creation, Skype was a novel invention, allowing people to video chat with one another on opposite sides of the globe. Because it was also free, it totally democratized this kind of technology and revolutionized the way we communicate online.
Now video chatting is a commonplace, but Skype is here to stay. Its basic services are free, and include instant messaging, file sharing, video chat, and free calls to anyone else on Skype. If you want to pay a bit more, you can call landlines and cell phones worldwide, as well as send text messages and link up to Skype’s extensive global WiFi network.
If you have subscribed and decided you don’t want to use Skype any longer, canceling is fairly straightforward. Note that you can only request a refund within the first 15 days of your purchase and if you have not yet used your subscription. To do so, you must start a live chat after you’ve logged into your Skype account. To cancel a subscription you’ve already used so it will not renew, or to cancel your Skype number entirely, follow the steps below.
Hopefully with this tutorial you were able to cancel your Skype subscriptions and number with no trouble. If you still need help, let CancelWizard do it for you by clicking the “Use Our Cancellation Service” button.
